The moment Wasabi texted him about her missing granddaughter, Dr. Hare immediately leapt to her aide. Wasabi is his best friend! How could he not? In between his day job slowing down and, uh... ahem. Breaking up with his ex the week before. His days have been pretty free, and he's been itching to do something anyways. Sigh...
A nuisance on the battlefield, what Hare lacks in most other things, he makes up for in speed. Sure, he doesn't hit very hard, and his HP and Defense stats are... middling, at best. But who cares about that when he has the highest Speed in the party? His damage isn't much, but it's consistent! And his enemies can rarely hit him back!
Hare plays best as a run-and-gunner. Use his ray gun to deal Special damage, then taunt enemies and watch them miss. Hare benefits greatly from accessories and ally actions that boost his Speed, to make him impossible to hit.
