Professor Ratigan had plans for this week. He had booked tickets to a fantastic musical (on Birch's recommendation), then he'd booked a reservation for his friends to eat at this fabulous little restaurant that had just opened- barring the chance he might run into his archnemesis Basil, his week was going to be great!
...Unfortunately, Mustard getting lost threw a bit of a wrench into those plans. Admittedly, he doesn't get along with the kid that well. But, come on- she's his friend's granddaughter! It'd be bad if he didn't try to help, right?
Ratigan packs a hefty punch, and he has the muscles to back it up. While his Speed isn't the greatest, his powerful Strength stat means his blows are devastating, and his Physical Defense easily absorbs damage when his enemies try to retaliate. Though, be careful: His Special Defense is weak, and he can't handle magic that well...
Ratigan plays best on the front lines. Use him to deal strong Physical damage, then let him absorb damage that would normally go to his allies. He benefits greatly from accessories and ally actions that boost his Special Defense, to make up for his weak base stat.
